In the spring of 2012, Praxis Academy together with the Network of Estonian Nonprofit Organizations (NENO) and a nonprofit association Development Steps will be conducting trainings for local non-profit organizations that have been or will be collecting charitable donations. The trainings will last for two days and include lectures, best practice sharing, intensive group work and individual homework in organizations to improve their practical skills and knowledge in planning, collecting and managing donations. Three of these two days courses will be held in Estonian and two in Russian.

The aim of the trainings is to advance the capacity of the non-profit organizations which, in the long run, should increase the number and amount of donations in Estonia. With this process, we hope that the public and the organizations will recognize the value of donating and its role in a democratic society.
