Tax/Benefit Systems and EU Growth PotentialThis is a joint research project of the consortium of ENEPRI members from Finland (ETLA), Belgium (CEPS), France (CEPII, CEPREMAP), Netherlands (CPB) and Germany (ZEW). The project is financed by the EU 6th Framework Programme. The ultimate goal of the project is to provide policy options to improve the potential growth of the EU and attainment of a high level of employment, takinginto account the challenges from enlargement and the environmental aspirations adopted in the EU. The set-up of the project will permit the evaluation of the impact of the existing different tax/benefits systems and will yield policy options that can be quantified and adapted to different political constraints. PRAXIS participates in two out of five work packages: first, the link between tax/benefit systems and employment in the EU and second, the growth potential of the EU and its relationship to tax/benefit systems. The results of the project will be disseminated in the EU and in Estonia. TulemusedPublikatsioonid:A Comparative General Equilibrium Analysis of the Estonian Labour Market.
