European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) in collaboration with Praxis Center for Policy Studies has published an overview report on the role of the government and social partners in keeping older workers in the labor market in Estonia.

The report addresses the main issues encouraging or preventing the extension of working life in Estonia. The report concludes that it has been understood that in order to cope with the population ageing and maintain economic competitiveness it is important to find new ways of keeping people longer in the labour market.

Still, most measures currently put in place aimed to prolong persons working life focus on all age groups and not specifically on older workers.
