Today, Kristina Mänd conducted a one day training, which was designed for Latvian associations. Trainings’ primary subject was planning, conducting and valuation of advocacy.

Kristina talked about value of evaluation and why valuation of advocacy is important. She also brought out the problems and different ways of advocacy.

She talked about good governance and public policy making as well. They discussed, how policy as a program and policy as a process differ from eachother. She cited examples of modern policy making.

Also in the list was ffective advocacy, objectives, resources and costs. It was discussed, how to make successful analysis of evidence in advocacy and why it should be done.
