Hanna has a MA degree in New Media & Digital Culture from the University of Amsterdam and a MSc degree in European Governance from the University of Bristol. Her BA degree is in Government & Politics from the University of Tartu. At the moment, she is also a doctoral student at Baltic Film, Media and Arts School in Tallinn University where she studies data driven innovation practices of editorial media organisations.

Previously, she has worked as a researcher at Unitas Foundation and Transparency International Estonia and as an adviser for EU digital affairs and energy efficiency topics at the Estonian Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications.
