Gertha Teidla-Kunitsõn

Gertha joined Praxis at the end of 2022. Previously Gertha has worked at Tallinn University as a Junior Lecturer and Researcher, in Estonian Youth Work Centre, and in the NGO Estonian Union for Child Welfare. She holds a bachelors’ degree in social work and masters’ degree in andragogy, combining well her interest both in education and social field. She is also enrolled in a PhD program, where she studies the use of digital devices in education.

Work-related experiences have brought Gertha the knowledge and experiences both in international projects and networks which allows her to be competent with the topics of participation and inclusion. While working in the university, she was most involved with the topics of lifelong and non-formal learning. In addition, Gertha has been working for more than 10 years with forum theatre – a theatre method that is based on the involvement of the audience to solve various problematic situations. You can easily talk with Gertha in English, and in Russian for a simpler conversation.

And if Gertha is not at Praxis, she might be in the rehearsal of forum theatre, travelling, practicing drumming or walking her dog
