In choosing policy themes Praxis relies on its mission, values and vision. Our main purpose is to bring attention to problems which need to be solved in society. Therefore we choose our main themes based on that.
More specific projects are selected on the basis of two principles. First, Praxis itself initiates research projects on various topics in order to draw attention to focal points in society and bring new issues to public debate. These issues may not previously have had government or other public attention. Second, Praxis closely monitors its main partners, particularly in public sector, activities to actively participate in policy making and to provide independent evidence to enrich the decision-making choices.

Praxis’s strength lays in the close cooperation of all these areas, so while working out solutions we can take mutual effects into account.
