Ministry of the Environment in cooperation with E&Y and Praxis has launched an ex ante evaluation for program (4.3.1) “Investments into the best possible resource-efficient technology, resource-management systems and supporting IT applications.”
Developed measures will be used for financing investments to improve resource-efficiency in following 5 industrial sectors:
- B: Mining and quarrying;
- C10: Manufacture of food products and C11: Manufacture of beverages;
- C16: Manufacture of wood and of products of wood and cork, except furniture; manufacture of articles of straw and plaiting materials;
- C17: Manufacture of paper and paper products;
- C23: Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products.
The goal of program is to decrease the amount of resources spent per production unit and improve Estonia’s resource efficiency. This work aims to develop a nation-wide financing solution suitable for given method that would also correspond with aforementioned industries’ interests and requirements.
